Chinese-Americans are an incredible consumer opportunity for marketers. There are more than 484,000 Chinese-Americans in New York City and more than 330,000 in Los Angeles. Chinese-language radio plays a vital role in these growing communities. |
Chinese-speaking consumers are an especially attractive multicultural niche. Not only are they well educated and financially stable, they are off the radar screens of many marketers, making it easier for an advertiser's message to stand out in the crowded commercial landscape.
Chinese-language radio listeners are extremely loyal. So loyal, in fact, that it would be impossible to reach many of them through any station other than Chinese-language radio.
In Los Angeles, 59 percent of Chinese-language radio listeners (83,700) cannot be reached via any other station. In New York, the Chinese-language radio advantage is even greater, with 87 percent (119,000) of listeners unavailable from any other station. |
